Chase Jazzmen

Yesterday (Tuesday 22th) was another great day at the festival!
I had the chance to see performing "Chase Jazzmen" at the Mailbox. Despite the works and the time (lunch time in an office environment) people was there enjoying this classic jazz and very good humour.
This highly popular and talented band is comprised of leading musicians in their field each of who have a long standing history of playing traditional and popular jazz.
With a high standard of musicianship and a touch of humour the band will provided first class entertainment.
The music is drawn mainly from popular composers and date from a period of between 1900 and 1950 in a Traditional style along with numbers from the swing era including Sinatra type compositions.
Here is an interview with their leader, Dave, and some music from them.
At 5pm I also had the chance to see “The Jazz Rambles” at Snow Hill Station Square and at 6pm “Potato Head Jazz Band” made another impressive performance.
I couldn’t see Mr Steven Seagal….

Here is a video with a little interview to Dave, the frontman of Chase Jazzmen and a performance (All together, less than 3 minutes).

The weather is being fantastic!!! Let’s enjoy today!!!
